This SHM SACD is a real disappointment. I was expecting this to be as good as any other normal CD. I am talking about the sound quality and not the CD package. There is no doubt that the CD package is outstanding and beautifully made. However, the sound quality is left much to be disired. On track 1, all the sound seems to be concentrated on the centre speaker and the rear speakers are so soft. There is no sonic sound quality to speak of as compared to my other SACD such as Elton John - Captain Fantastic and Bob Dylan - Hurricane. Both CDs are non SHM and the sound quality are just superb. I do not think Breezin' is worth the price of admission. Next time I would not jump into conclusion that all SHM SACDs sound quality are bound to be good. I have learned my lesson. The rest of the tracks (i.e. sound) on this Cd is just flat!
