ok, the cd sounds wonderful if you don't hear it on a super audio cd player. but if you do the sound is aweful leaving the sound distorted raising the volume up high. the dvd-audio version is done well sounds more natural than the 2007 remaster mix of the sacd. I got japan 1999 release of genesis on cardboard mini lp sleeves. they sound just as wonderful up load without distorting. the us released the 1994 re-masters of it out. I had all the early from trespass to lamb lies down. they did not sounds as good as the japan 1999 release. it cost a bunch but every song had the perfect detail. nice and warm feeling like the original album. so compared to the 1999 release to this new cd/sacd mix. the dvd-audio is as close to the 1999 release if you hear it on 2 speakers, than the 5.1 surround sound.
