1998年発表の2ndアルバム『Puppet Show』が価格改定で再発売!! デビュー以来、その高いライブ・パフォーマンスで熱烈なファン層を作り上げてきた彼らの最大の武器である「グルーブ感」を基調としながら、ハードで疾走感あふれる曲から、メロディアスで爽快感あふれる曲まで縦横無尽に語り尽くされるその世界は、より細分化の進んでいた当時のビジュアル・シーンに全く新たな風穴をあけた。本作では、サウンド・プロデューサーとして西脇辰弥氏を起用。キーボーディストとしても評価の高い同氏の参加は、ギターを中心としたストレート・アヘッドなサウンド・アレンジが多かった彼らの作品に大きな変化をもたらした。5曲目の「幻燈機械」における高揚感あふれるストリングスや、彼らのライブでの定番曲でもある「サーカス」でのある種プログレ的とも言える構成美などは、正に、西脇氏のアレンジ力とPlastic Treeの持つ優れた楽曲制作能力とがうまく混ざりあった賜物。
