For their first album, Merry's NuChemical Rhetoric still has that essence that makes it distinctly Merry, yet at the same time it was a disappointment. Most of the tracks did not stand out for me, and there were often times where I couldn't tell when one song ended and the other began. However, the last three tracks on the album were fantastic, my absolute favorites. Though they were quick, the last three tracks had distinct sound that made buying the cd worthwhile. This is a great buy if you're an absolute Merry fan, otherwise I recommend sticking with their older works.
