Voice Magician V - Deep Impact - [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]

[Machine Translation] Shonan Nofu's HAN-KUN went to the U.S. by himself last year for a long-term training in the U.S., just before the 10th anniversary of his solo debut in 2018. In order to express his identity as an Asian and Japanese person, he decided to release his fifth album in the series after a three-year absence. This album was produced with "Japanese Identity" in mind. Unlike the previous albums, which were mainly produced in Jamaica, this album was recorded in Japan with a focus on "made in Japan". Although produced in Japan, all songs are newly recorded at a world-class level, embodying the experience he gained while living in New York last year. With an easy listening dancehall reggae sound with an awareness of Japan, a message that pierces the heart, and transformative voice magic, the album is a new approach to music that is different from anything that has come before. The limited first pressing of the album comes with a DVD featuring their performance at their one-man live "MAGIC MOMENT SHOW CASE@Billboard Live 2017" held on April 30.

2018年のソロデビュー10周年を目前に、昨年は単身渡米、アメリカでの長期武者修行を敢行した湘南乃風のHAN-KUN。その生活の中、自らの内から感じたアジア人・日本人としてのアイデンティティーを表現すべく、3年振りシリーズ5作目となるアルバムが発売決定。今作は「ジャパニーズ・アイデンティティー」を意識し制作。前作までは主にジャマイカで楽曲制作に励んでいたHAN-KUNだが、今作は前作までと異なり「MADE IN JAPAN」にこだわり全曲国内でレコーディング。国内での制作ながらも、昨年のニューヨーク生活の中で吸収した経験を体現し、全曲世界水準の新録曲が出揃った。日本を意識した聴きやすいダンスホールレゲエサウンド、心に突き刺さるメッセージ、変幻自在なボイスマジックを駆使し、今までとは異なる新しいアプローチの作品が完成した。 初回生産限定盤には、4月30日に行われたワンマンライブ「MAGIC MOMENT SHOW CASE@Billboard Live 2017」でのパフォーマンスを収録したDVDが付属。
