少女に何が起こったか!? 沖縄発、新世代ガールズ・ロックバンド「FLiP」、米国ツアーを経ていよいよ本土上陸!! 昨年夏、モンゴル800を輩出したインディーズ・レーベル、ハイウェーブより初めてのアルバム「母から生まれた捻くれの唄」を発表。タワーレコードの那覇店では数ヶ月に及びインディーズ・チャートの上位(最高位1位)、また総合アルバム・チャートでもCOLDPLAYや絢香、GReeeeNらと並んで堂々TOP10入りするなど、沖縄でのチャートを賑わせる。1stアルバムの発売をきっかけに沖縄では着々とライブ動員も増え、この春にはテキサス・オースティンで毎年おこなれるSXSW2009に参戦、そのままNY～BOSTON～CHICAGO～DENVER～SEATTLE～SF～LAの全8ヵ所9公演を敢行する。2010年サウンドプロデューサーにチャットモンチーや9mm Parabellum Bulletほかを手がけるいしわたり淳治氏をむかえて、デフスターレコーズよりメジャーデビュー!!
