It wasn't a long time ago when I heard about High and Mighty Color for the first time. But I immediately became interested, and decided to get their first album Goover. That really was a good decision. That band is now one of my favourites. Goover includes a nice mixture of pop and rock with some heavy influences. Singer MAKI has very beautiful voice and her pop music style fits perfectly with band which actually plays quite heavy music. Goover includes eleven tracks. Everyone of them is good and it feels that there wouldn't be any useless material on this album. Goover is different track compared to rest of the album. It's a catchy rock tune with a fast pace. But second track changes the style to pop. Songs like PRIDE and OVER are that kind of songs which you want to listen to over and over again. The last song, With YOU, is a fine ending to a great album. It begins very beautifully and gives you really relaxing feeling. I can really say, that High and Mighty Color is one of the best new pop groups. I'm sure their success will continue, and I'm already waiting to get their second album.
