The Bottom Of Chaos [Regular Edition]

Ok, this one was special... A little bit complicated to explain how I feel about it because it's rather unusual. Satsuki has a rather high pitched voice, but can enter some growling, witch is rather nice, even though you have the feeling a small sized dog is growling at you. The ups and downs of the voice are rather amazing, something I liked. It's strong but melodic at the same time, except for some parts. What didn't like, is that it seemed like sometimes Satsuki (vocals) was fighting with the drums and guitars to get his voice out, so his voice sounded a bit strained. What I really didn't like is that there was too much shouting around, it doesn't really match his voice. Nice CD anyways. I'd recommend it.

This is my favourite album from Rentrer en soi. My favourites songs are: "I was damed", "Thorny rain break", "Just mad pain", "The abyss of despair" and "Shinwa". Great Album!!!!!

I bought this album on a whim, really, having heard their last album and their new singles and thinking they were quite good, and having some points to spend. I wasn't expecting great things of it, to be honest. But POW! it leapt out of the speakers and slapped me round the chops. This is simply an absolutely fantastic album. It's like all the best bits of VK, beautiful melodic ballads, shouty metal, superb songwriting all round. An amazingly strong album that if there's any justice is going to catapult these boys into the big league. I simply cannot recommend this album highly enough, if you like this sort of music do yourself a favour and buy it straight away, it will not disappoint. Probably my favourite album of the year so far and that's saying a lot 'cause I buy hundreds.
