[Machine Translation] Raphael is a visual-kei band that has been on hiatus since 1999, when they debuted with the single "Hanasaku Jinsei Arimasu" (As long as there is life in bloom). (The Guinness Book of Records recognized this as the smallest number of live performances at the Budokan). After the above activities, the unit was formed with vocalist Yuki Sakurai and drummer Kazuhiro Murata in 2001, starting with a live performance at ZEPP TOKYO. Their unique musical style, which incorporates the cello into their songs, has gained tremendous support from numerous musicians as well as general fans. Taking advantage of the combination of vocals and drums, they have attracted many fans with a wide range of live performances, including a small acoustic group and a 10-piece group with a violin and chorus at their 8th anniversary concert in 2009. 活動休止が惜しまれるヴィジュアル系バンド、Raphael。99年にシングル「花咲く命ある限り」でデビューを飾って以来、耽美的サウンド世界とシアトリカルなステージで人気を博してきた。00年に初の武道館公演を行った時、メンバー全員がまだ18歳だった。(ギネスブック認定、最小ライブ回数での武道館公演)。上記活動を経て、2001年ZEPP TOKYOでのライブから、ボーカル櫻井有紀と、ドラマー村田一弘とで結成されたユニット。楽曲にはチェロを取り入れた独自の音楽性を有し、一般のファン以外に数々のミュージシャンからも絶大な支持を得ている。ボーカルとドラムという組み合わせを生かし、小編成でのアコースティック、2009年に行なわれた結成8周年記念ライブではバイオリン、コーラスを加えた10人編成など幅広いライブパフォーマンスで多くのファンを魅了している。 「Sing you」PVのDVD付き。
