2004年札幌にて結成。現在は都内を中心に活動中。2008年7月に自主レーベルより「sherry?」をリリース(オリコン・インディーズ・チャート週間ランキング4位)、.翌年2月に「re:alice」をリリース(オリコン・インディーズ・チャート週間ランキング4位)。その「re:alice」を引っ提げて初の東名阪ワンマン・ツアーも敢行。"姫苺" 待望の新作はミニ・アルバム『Loudly Riot』2タイプ同時発売。◆Aタイプ:はCD全6曲+DVD(収録曲「コトノハ」のPV付き)で、2枚組。◆Bタイプ:Aタイプの6曲にライブでもお馴染みのナンバー「蝶羽」をボーナス・トラックに加えた全7曲を収録(CD1枚組)。バリエーションにとんだ楽曲は全て"ライブ"を意識した作品に仕上がっている。PVにもなっている「コトノハ」は姫苺ならではのメロディアスなナンバー。勿論、ライブで大暴れできる楽曲も揃い、8月22日からは札幌メッセホールを皮切りに全国13箇所のワンマン・ツアーも決定。
