一貫して狂女がテーマとして描かれた作品。公ヘビィなリフから繊細な和楽器まで、各々の楽曲に求められる表現を駆使し、彼等の掲げる和への追求を感じさせる、前作よりも過激さの増した1枚!!メメント・モリ3作目となる演目音源集(ミニアルバム)。PVにもなっている「お七妖艶恋緋桜」は八百屋お七の昔話を題材にして作曲、作詞、そして編曲を行ったという前代未聞な珠玉の楽曲。1曲目収録の「火の見櫓-狂女狂乱-」から「お七妖艶恋緋桜」へと、今作は冒頭からお七の世界観が前面に押し出されている。ひとつの恋の為に凄絶な末路を辿る一人の少女の人生を、メメント・モリがどの様に描いたのか、一聴すべし。声.哀 / 上手六弦.椿 / 下手六弦.潯 / 四弦.夜半 / 太鼓.悠依 の五人の演者からなる。公演の際に客席に畳を敷き詰める等、和のコンセプトを隅々まで徹底している異例のバンド。和の方向性が固まった時期から瞬く間に人気となり、前作「拝啓、波瀾万丈日和」1stプレス分も完売。今年は今作「百花繚乱-好色狂女-」 を引っ提げての全国24箇所単独公演巡業が決まっており、その集大成を千秋楽渋谷O-WESTにぶつける。
