Description

[Machine Translation] Kanji Ishimaru made his impressive debut as Raoul in the musical "The Phantom of the Opera" in 1990, and has been the leader of the Shiki Theatre Company for 17 years. This album, her first release in two years since her 4th album "My Favorite Songs" in 2017, is a live album (recorded in Tokyo/Osaka) featuring orchestra concerts held in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka in May and June of this year. The album features dynamic songs mainly from the musicals he has been working on for 29 years. Guests will be Megumi Hamada (Tokyo) and Yoshio Inoue (Osaka), who will perform beautiful duets from "Love Never Die" and "Elisabeth". Jiro Yoshida, a jazz guitarist active in both New York and Japan, will join the ensemble as a featured guest for "You Raise Me Up," a song he himself has arranged, delivering a performance that is sure to please. The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Century Japan Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Masahiko Enkoji, will perform the song, which will be accompanied by a gorgeous performance by the orchestra.

1990年、ミュージカル『オペラ座の怪人』のラウル役で鮮烈なデビューを飾り、17年にわたり劇団四季のトップを務めてきた石丸幹二。2009年のフリー転身後は、舞台の他、ドラマ・映画などの映像作品でも活躍、さらには歌手や司会者・朗読者として幅広い分野に活動の場を広げている。2017年の4thアルバム『My Favorite Songs』から2年ぶりにリリースするアルバムは、今年5〜6月に東京・名古屋・大阪で開催のオーケストラ・コンサートを収録したライヴ・アルバム(収録地: 東京/大阪)。29年にわたり取り組んできたミュージカルを中心にダイナミックに歌う。ゲストに、東京・濱田めぐみ、大阪・井上芳雄を迎え、「ラブ・ネバー・ダイ」「エリザベート」から美しいデュエット曲を披露。また、NYと日本で活躍するジャズ・ギタリスト吉田次郎のアレンジによる「ユー・レイズ・ミー・アップ」には、吉田自身がfeaturingゲストとして参加、聴きごたえのあるパフォーマンスをお届け。円光寺雅彦指揮の東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団と日本センチュリー交響楽団による豪華な演奏と共にお送りする、石丸幹ニのミュージカル人生を振り返る充実の1枚の登場。

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray
