Description

[Machine Translation] [Ken Yamauchi plays the role of a wild and unpredictable character in the "Bad Tarot Den" series! The series co-stars Yumiko Nogawa, Masako Izumi, Jun Tadara, and Kotoei Hatsui. --Shigekichi Suzuki (Ken Yamauchi) was born and raised in the Kawachi Plain in southern Osaka in the early Showa period. He grew up under his father Jubei, a poor farmer who devoted himself to drinking and fighting cockfights, and his petite but strong-willed mother Osen. Shigekichi was eager to enter the Daisan High School in Kyoto, which everyone had longed to attend, and he forcefully overcame Shigeki's objections to enter the nearby Yatsuo Junior High School. One day, his classmate Mishima is sanctioned by the public morals committee for walking with a young woman. A short time later, Shigekichi is invited to Mishima's house, but he is angered by the sight of Mishima indulging in bad games without regard to the recent sanctioning incident. Shigekichi stands up indignantly and meets Suzuko, Mishima's younger sister, at the door, and is breathtaken by her beauty. The next morning, while delivering milk, Shigekichi meets Suzuko and decides to take a walk with her. [鈴木清順生誕100周年記念シリーズ] 山内賢が破天荒な暴れん坊に扮して波乱を巻き起こす「悪太郎伝」シリーズ! 共演は野川由美子、和泉雅子、多々良純、初井言栄ら豪華顔ぶれ。――昭和初期、大阪南部の河内平野で鈴木重吉 (山内賢) は生まれ育った。貧農で酒と喧嘩軍鶏に現を抜かす父・重兵衛と小柄だが気の強い母・お仙の下で成長した。重吉は皆の憧れであった京都の第三高等学校に入りたくてたまらず、反対する重兵衛を退けて強引に近くの八尾中学に入学する。ある日、同級生の三島が若い女と歩いていたという理由で風紀委員から制裁を受ける。しばらくして重吉は三島の家に招待されるも、先日の制裁事件を気にせず悪い遊びに耽る三島の姿に怒りを憶えた。憤然として席を立った重吉は玄関で三島の妹・鈴子と出会い、その美しさに息をのむ。翌朝、牛乳配達をしていた重吉は鈴子に出会い、散歩することに。二人の間にほのかな愛情が芽生えるも、愛染まつりで出会った種子という女性から迫られる。清純な鈴子と肉体で誘惑する種子。対照的な二人の女性に揺れる重吉だったが・・・。

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
